Which car data does smart charging use?
Smart charging only uses the car data it needs to plan charging:
- Battery level and state of charge
- Plug status: plugged in or not
- Charging status: charging or stopped
- Location: only to check whether the car is at a smart charging location
- Time to full: the estimated charging time
Smart charging does not use data about your doors, windows, climate or driving.

- Secure login with your car brand: you log in on your car brand's own page, using OAuth2
- Protection against common web attacks such as XSS, CSRF and SQL injection

All data exchange with car brands goes through their official interfaces and follows their security rules.
